Forever Love has a decent base story for a second chance romance. I found myself sucked into the story very quickly but also disoriented at first because the writing is somewhat choppy and there are a lot of events packed into a short book with few details between. There is also very little back story given on the main characters who previously had been in a relationship 9 years before. I complain a lot of times that authors will use filler to make a story somewhat longer and the story drags. I think this writer could benefit from using some filler and adding some details into the story. It would help with smoother transition between scenes as well as making it easier for the reader to follow the story.

There were also some inconsistencies in the story. Alexia supposedly had been taken away by her mother when she was three and didn't know her father until recently when they were reintroduced. She moved her twin girls back to her fathers town. The inconsistency comes when her two friends Tracey and Sarah are introduced. How does she have friends there if she hasn't been there since she was 3 years old? Also her ex JT just happens to run his business in the same town. After not seeing him for 9 years it seems a like an unlikely coincidence that they both be in the same town at the same time. The whole circumstances around her father's connection to JT seemed unlikely and a little unbelievable.

Perhaps these are not inconsistencies but just written in a way that as the reader I didn't understand them. These are easy fixes and can be edited to either change the details and make these scenarios fit into the story consistently or be written clearer so that readers can understand them better.

There is one situation that caused me to be taken aback and I did not take off on the rating because I think it's a personal issue. Sometimes we as readers encounter things in stories that just don't mesh with us as people. These situations don't bother other people so I don't think they should affect the ratings of a book. I do normally try to steer clear of books containing these situations but because this was a request from a writer and I had no prior knowledge of this situation I still read the book. I never like to read a book (view spoiler)but if that isn't a problem for you then by all means give this book a chance.

This book is definitely in need of a little more work but at the same time the chemistry between JT and Alexia is very intriguing. Every time they were together in the book I couldn't look away from the page. Their passion was explosive! He was a bad boy and she was very feisty. I can't stand a woman who is a doormat and Alexia definitely stood her ground against JT. That was a refreshing in a female heroine.

This book has a ton of potential. Right now it's a little rough around the edges but I will definitely be on the lookout to see what this writer brings us in the future. She has the stories in her to tell and I'm interested to see her grow and mature as a writer. I think the stories will get better from here. There is a lot of british lingo it is a bit hard to get use to it for me as an American reader. I could mostly figure out what she was talking about but some of the words were a little different. For example calling a trunk of a car a boot. Little words like this but like I said you can still understand what they mean.

This book is the first a 3 book series so check it out!
Alexia had her share of tough times, her mom's passing and being reunited with her long lost dad, but nothing prepared her for what she was to face when she moved back home to be with her dad.

He was tall,dark and handsome and also very dangerous, the man that had walked out on her more than eight years ago came crashing back into her life.....

JT was a cage fighter, turned loan shark. He was feared by everyone..almost everyone. The drama that unfolds when these two were reunited was nothing short of uncomfortable. I found this book to be quite intriguing from the hot and steamy parts to the dramatic and at times tear jerking moments. I enjoyed this read very much....Jen

Forever Love is the story of Alexia and James. This story is fast paced with loads crammed into one book. It is fast and sometimes I wish the author had maybe made this into two books and given some more depth into the characters. I would have like more info on James and what he had done over 9 years and why he never looked for her Alexia. The Chemistry between the characters was intense and yet the author managed to show how much love they had for each other, even though they hurt one another in the past. The story was good and entertained me. Would I recommend this - yes – looking forward to book 2 & 3.

I think this book has a great storyline to start with. It needs some development because there were a lot of events crammed into a short book and not very many details to expand on or to get much of a background on anybody except Alexia.

There are some inconsistencies that bothered me throughout the whole book. In one scenario, for example, the book says that her mother took her away when she was 3 years old and she didn't remember much of her father or her time there. Yet, after her mother dies, she reconnects with her father and moves back. Her first day in her new house, her 2 best friends come pounding on her door hollaring that they're happy to have her back. This part of the story didn't make sense to me. If she doesn't remember her time there, and hasn't been back since she was 3, how could she have people happy to have her back? Maybe I missunderstood something in the book.

There are some grammar/punctuation errors throughout this book, not huge ones, but enough to cause me to stop and re-read a sentence/paragraph to try and figure out what the author meant. I've read a few reviews prior to starting this book in which the English dialect threw off readers, but I didn't have an issue with it.

I didn't think there was enough of a backstory for James. I wanted to know more about him and why, if he loved her sooo much, didn't he try to find Alexia after she left him. What was going through heads a little more. There's not much of a fighting history for him other than he is a cage fighter and loan shark.

I did like this book, I just thought that with some more development of the story it could be a great book.
Very fast paced story, i enjoyed the story line but i wish there was some more back story to the characters.
