I really enjoyed this book. I haven’t laughed this hard since I read the Chocolate Lovers series by Tara Sivec! It had me laughing within the first few pages…

Paige Crawford has graduated college and booked a one way ticket to London. Within her first day there she makes friends and already has been invited out that first night to hang out. Later that night while leaving The Box, the club that Jason (the cute guy she meets outside her Flat when she first arrives) invites her to, Paige, being drunk, trips and falls into the arms of a well known soccer player while the paparazzi are there to capture it on film. The next day she’s an insta-celeb, which ends up being both a blessing and a curse.

I really enjoyed this story, so much I couldn’t put it down to go to bed. Though, I have to warn you: The most disturbing thing I’ve ever read in a book happened at the beginning of this story. Though it doesn’t mean it didn’t have me laughing after going ‘OMGWTF?!’

I really hope that there will be a sequel to this story, because I would like to see what other shenanigans Paige will get herself in to.

Really enjoyed this book! Very fun and light and hilarious at times. Perfect chick lit. Definitely recommend.
From the moment I started reading The Accidental Socialite by Stephanie Wahlstrom, I was hooked! The story flowed effortlessly and I got caught up in the main character's world of being a newbie in the bustling metropolis that is London. It was a very funny, very witty read - definitely had a lot of laugh out loud moments - had to keep explaining them to my husband! ;) Looking forward to the next book! Highly recommend )

This was a good story it started out strong but it seemed just like a little something was missing. I would recommend it its a light easy read.
The Accidental Socialite is a story about a young Canadian girl Paige Crawford chasing her career in one of the largest international city London Engand and finds herself in the crazies' awkward scenario. She finds herself in a totally unique position of being part of the young high society in London. The writer keeps her heroine as a true Canadian girl; she picks herself up, brushes off any awkward situation, she walks away with her head held high. She leaves a smile on the readers face.

The Accidental Socialite is a fun,laugh out loud read. I couldn't put the book down. I don't believe I have ever read a book where I have actually laughed out loud. So well written, the writer really brings you into the story. You are there every step of the way with Paige Crawford, the good, is this for real, heartbreak and the laughter.

I can't wait to read the next Paige Crawford adventure, she is a remarkable,fun and a strong character.
I will definitely recommend this book to all of my friends. For me this was 5/5 in fun and laughter.
The Accidental Socialite was a fun read that had me laughing out loud at every ridiculous exchange! Paige, the main character, was both awkwardly loveable and completely easy to identify with. A friend recommended the book as I am an American living in London and she said I would "get it". Of course the main character is Canadian, but as a fellow North American, she really nailed the language and cultural differences. If I could count the number of times I have accidentally said fanny or pants at inappropriate times...well let's just say she makes me feel much less alone in this world. Moving from any small town to any big city is always a change, but she really captures the challenges (and excitement) of moving across the pond in a succinct and amusing manner. The book was full of plausible random exchanges with strangers, amusing romantic escapades, embarrassing office drama and chance encounters that lead to true friendships. It was a great depiction of life across the pond, with this funny sex in the city type of dialogue. Okay, maybe real for minus the paparazzi, but that was simply an unfortunate mishap. I was also surprisingly pleased with the ending- I was expecting a typical chick lit ending that left the main character blissfully happy riding away into the sunset with Mr Perfect. It was real to see Paige come into her own and find happiness for herself- with herself. My only complaint is that I did have a few questions left unanswered, but I am hoping for a second instalment to find out what becomes of Paige )
This is a funny light story of Paige’s first year in London. Her dating disasters and her life as a pseudo celebrity by accident is hysterical. She came to London hoping to take it by storm and instead it took her over. She ends up in the tabloids, dates douche bags, has the worst luck and her flatmates are nuts. Her job at Fashionista is her saving grace. Her coworkers Louis and Carlos crack me up and her friend Lucinda is a hoot.

As we read about her life that is just one train disaster after another you see how one mistake of falling can change your day and your world. Paige is hysterical and lost on her journey. That is until she goes home for a visit and her mom sets her straight. From than on she gets a determination like no other.

A absolutely funny page turning look at this young woman’s first year in London that changed her world. You’ll laugh hard and not put it down to the end and than you will want more of Paige and her friends
